Hi,

How do I use Canvas.DrawRect to draw a solid color rectangle? Right now I'm just using a solid color texture, but it would be nice to make it proper.

I'm guessing I'd create a Material. The drawprimitives2 example includes a material, but it has an image instead of a color.

Thanks

...after writing this post I found a solution, so I'm just going to post it and answer it myself for other beginners to find.

Passing in the default material and setting the color using Canvas.SetColor worked.

Code:
myCanvas.SetColor(0, 1, 1, .5)
myCanvas.DrawRect(10,10,50,50,myCanvas.DefaultMaterial)

You can just do myCanvas.DrawRect(10,10,50,50)
If you don't specify a material it will take defaultMaterial as a default. ;-)

If you want to change the color, do a Canvas.SetColor before the drawing call.

I did, but I forgot to include that in the solution. Thanks
